The MEC study has found that when customers interact with an employee face-to-face their Engagement levels are always higher, which puts the restaurant industry at an advantage. Engagement sits a solid 10 points higher than the average across all other industries. Restaurants that hire and retain staff willing to create that "above and beyond" experience create customers who will keep coming back for seconds.
