About this position
PeopleMetrics is growing and we’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Philadelphia! The Business Development Manager will drive sales by engaging prospects & driving qualified accounts into the PeopleMetrics sales pipeline to close new business. The BDM will be responsible for prospecting to identify new business opportunities, conducting outreach, and ultimately making the case for potential clients to choose PeopleMetrics.
This is a consultative sales position with the opportunity to drive the sales process at PeopleMetrics. The position is autonomous but you’ll have lots of support from our close knit team along with unprecedented opportunity to saturate the market - you won’t be bound by territory or verticals. This is a growth opportunity for us at PeopleMetrics, and we’re looking for candidates who want to expand their scope of responsibility and grow with the company.
Skills Required:
- Someone with 1-3 years of sales experience who is familiar with selling SaaS products
- A persuasive communicator and strategic thinker- you’ll work to understand how PeopleMetrics can help each prospect achieve their unique goals and will need strong communication skills for this to come across clearly
- A confident self-starter and implementer of process- we’ve had little business development effort in the Customer Experience space and need you to implement and improve processes
